election duty is very important duty generally not cancelled but if you have any genuine or compassionate ground it may be concerned.
write a letter to election Commission of India or district magistrate by illustrating your problem if your problem is genuine in their point of view then it may be cancelled otherwise you have to perform your duty.
If you have any medical problem which can hamper your duty then write an application about your problem along with your supporting medical documents. Higher authority consider your medical ground then your duty may be cancelled by them.
