i pulkit khandelwal wanted to draw your kind attention towards my problem. i have done a mistake while i was filling my application form. i have filled my date of birth wrong it is 10/03/1991 while i filled 03/03/1991. i have made the payment through visa card. please tell me what you can do for my convenience. please do reply asap.

if you have filled wrong date of birth in application form than better thing is that you should contact IIT in which zone you have applied.

YOU have serious problem but not to worry!

just contact registrar or acad councelor of your zonal IIT.

Write letter to the chairman of the zone connected.....

hope dat u wil not hav much trouble...

but surely its gonna be a problem once you get the admission....

if u are damn sure that u will pass JEE .. then do 1 thing... spend 1000/- and buy another form.....

if you have filled wrong dob, then without wasting your time contact iit administration for solution!!!

if you don't get any response from them, then buy a new form fill it correctly and send it!!
look once you lost the last date of form submission then, it would be hard to solve any problem!!!

Contact IIT of zone you have filled else buy a new form and fill it again. Next time Be careful while filling.

in my suggestion you would contact any IITs and tell your problem

write an letter and send it to the chairman of the iit along with proof of original date of birth,and don't forget to mention tour application number

make it in the notice of the authority as soon as possible.......only they can help you out...............best of luck

So, if you want to change that please contact the person at IIT who can solve your problem

then in this case , your form will be rejected, there are no chance for change your date of birth after submission the form. sorry try next time.

in that case your is liable to be rejected as you have provided the 10th passing certificate for the dob and the dob you have written is different.

better you immediately write a letter to authority concerned and give its copy to other relevant authorities.you should do it as quickly as possible

sorry.nothing can happen now. But in future fill the forms carefullly.first fill the photocopy of the form to avoid such mistakes...

hey friend no options are open for you now as time has crossed
so you should better try for some other forms
state levels are coming still this will be an option..
and about admit card it will come but you will
be in trouble if you qualify after that this mistake of yours
will lead you to rejection .....

u better contact the iit office for this..
because...u have sent your 10th class certificate.in which your real dob will be mentioned ..since they will be a difference in the dates..we can't say wat will happen

you must contact the authorities of the zone in which you have applied. Only they can solve your problem.

your application form is liable to be rejected.......

i forgot to write application no. on the dmc copy ,tensed whether my form will be accepted

it was asked to filled with pencil..i did it with pen...should i continue sending the same way i filled or i shuld buy a new one

i have filled the iit jee form online.by mistake,i wrote ICSE insted of CBSE in the qualifying examination.i havent sent the form yet.what should i do so as to correct it?

Go the IIT website, in that you will find quires contact number, get that or email id, they will get better option, do that soon friend,

here after while filling the form, just take the xerox copy in that fill the details and then fill in the original, Good luck

As this is the big mistake though your form is not liable to rejection but this mistake will create problem of the time of admission.
i would like to suggest you to contact to your zonal IIT and ask them for the problem. they have a few provisions regarding this type of mistake. contact no. of different zonal IIT are given at the last page of your JEE bulletin or you may get it from the following url

contact the IIT zone in which you have applied........It is better to do that

There are two solutions.
you should contact your respective zone about your problem.
If you want to give the exam for just a try then no need to worry or if you are expecting a good rank then you should either fill a new form or contact them immediately.

now IIT JEE application status is available on the IIT website. visit the website of IIT where you have sent your application form to check your application status. if there is any problem due to your mistake then contact with the IIT zonal office immediately either through email or phone call.

but if you think that there may be any problem will arise because of your non attested 10th board certificate then i will suggest you to contact with IIT zonal office even if your application status is positive. they will help you by giving exact information about your application form.

the contact details of IIT zonal office is given in the IIT JEE information brochure.

you will face problem at the time of councellig not before that. so, if you are quite sure that you will crack IIT-JEE then i will advice you to contact the iit authorities and request them for correction .
don,t fill another form without the instruction of jee official because it may lead to the cancellation of your form.

contact the IIT ZONAL office .the address is given in your application bronchure provided with application form.

It is a big mistake. May be you will miss this chance. But do not get panicy. You should ask the IIT authority about it.

There is always a hope or way to get out of disturbed things.

Don't worry Man, buy a new application form , its not the matter of few green notes but its the matter of your life, your future.it is only possible If you haven't sent your Application form.

But if you have sent your form then nothing can be done because if you send multiple forms then there will be more chance of rejecting application form.

Better you contact your Zonal Authority.

Pulkit i also faced same proble but i tried a lot to contact iit zone bt they didnt reply. So, when i read prospectus again i got the solution. U just write an application to your zone that is indicated in prospectus. Make a draft of 1000 Rs. and attach with your application and your form no. and all other details.

You have to contact IIT office as quickly as possible by mail, telephone or by going to the IIT office directly before the last date of submission of the fourm.

I hope you will be allowed to sit in the entrance exam.

At first your form will be rejected.In case if it doesn't gets rejected then you will have problem while getting admission because at that time they will check each & every detail of yours.So you will be disqualified.You can ask for help from them.One more thing you can buy another form.May that will help you.

Friend, it is a big mistake. According to me you must contact to the iit office. It is best for you. The contact information is given in the IIT prospectus. You can also see the application status on the website of iit. First you must to contact the IIT office. all the best.

i m pritesh, my catagery is SC,i m a migrant from UP to maharashtra,my education is continuing in maharashtra, can i submit caste certificate of UP for reservation??

i have filled the IIT JEE 2012 form online.by mistake,i wrote CBSE insted of State Board in the qualifying examination (only 10th was CBSE & 2 is State Board). This mistake was observed after application was sent by Regd post. Kindly advise.

sir,i hav attached a photo with blue background in my form which is wrong because we had to attached a photo with white background.........though dat form is still with me,i haven't sent the form to iit yet....so can i fill a new form??? can i get a new form from the bank...?
