IBPS Clerical exam eligibility 2015


Am I eligible for IBPS clerical Exam 2015 after passing HSLC with 42% (from SEBA) and HS with 74% (from NIOS on Science Stream)?

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) conduct common written examination (CWE)for 19 Public Sector Banks for post of Clerk.

These are Banks which comes under IBPS.
Central Bank of India, Dena Bank, United Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank, Allahabad Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, UCO Bank, Vijaya Bank, Bank of Maharahstra, Andhra Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Corporation Bank.

Candidate must have Graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification. Age of candidate must be minimum 20 year and 28 year maximum.Relaxation for reserve candidate as per government rules.

Candidate can apply online only for IBPS exam. Application fee of Rs. 350 for General and OBC candidate whereas Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD per candidate.

There are only objective type questions in this exam.Test will be of total 250 marks each contain 1 marks so there will be 250 questions. Duration of IBPS exam will be 150 minutes.

12th Dec, 2015
13th Dec, 2015

Eligibility for IBPS Clerical Examination :

1.You must have completed the graduation from the recognized university. There is No requirement of marks in graduation or any other qualification for IBPS Clerk.

2. Age should be in between these limits.

* Minimum Age : 20 years

* Maximum Age : 28 years

3.Final year students of graduation are not eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk.

4.You should have a computer proficiency

5. For IBPS Clerk and PO you should have a knowledge in Local language of your state and also English.

From this year onwards the Complete pattern of the examination has been changed so you must be careul about it.

Selection Process :

1.Written Examination

* Prelims

* Mains

2.Interview

The tentative Notification for IBPS Clerk will be released in the month of Sept/Oct 2015.

The eligibility for the IBPS Clerical exam 2015 are as under:-

-The candidate should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

-The candidate should have a certificate/diploma/degree in Computer Operations/Languages from an institute/college/university.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 28 years for general category.There is age relaxation for OBC candidate by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The IBPS exam questions are from English,General awareness, Marketing and Computers, Quantitative aptitude,Test of reasoning.

-The exam process is conducted in different stages;

*Preliminary Examination,

*Main Examination,

*Personal Interview.

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personal Service and it conducts examination for the jobs in Banking sector . It is a common examination conducted for jobs in all the banks according to the merit list other than the SBI which conducts its own examination for the jobs .

The eligibility criteria for the IBPS aspirants are :-

Candidates who have completed there graduation from any recognised university.

Graduation may be in any discipline .

Age of the candidates must be 19-28 years for the general category students 19-31 for OBC and 19-33 for SC/ST candidates .

The examination is conducted in three stages and mandatory to qualify in each of them :-
Preliminary .
Mains .
Interview .

The questions are generally of General knowledge, English, Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics and from Computer related .

Candidates who want to apply must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.And candidate must be a citizen of India.

Candidate age should be between 20 years to 28 years.Age Relaxation for OBC candidate is 3 years,for SC/ST 5 years and for PWD 10 years.

The candidates are selected on the basis of Common Written Exam and Common Interview.

Paper pattern of IBPS Clerk---

Test of Reasoning---40 Marks
Test of English Language---40 Marks
Test of Numerical Ability---40 Marks
Test of General Awareness---40 Marks
Test of Computer Knowledge---40 Marks

Total---200 Marks

To apply for online examination of IBPS CWE clerk, a candidate should have passed :

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

No fix percentage marks asked to have from a candidate means just passed a degree.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and more than 28 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines.

You have passed class 10th and 12th only means completed school study so I would like to tell you that you are not eligible to apply for this examination but if you are interested then you need to get admission in a college and apply for graduation degree and after completion of graduation, you will be eligible to apply.

Still you are eligible for other government jobs such as :

Government insurance companies - Assistant recruitment in UIIC, NICL, NIACL, LIC etc. recruits assistants on 12th basis and a candidate should have minimum 60% marks in class 12th that you have already secured more than required so you are eligible.

SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level exam for LDC and DEO posts : 12th passed candidates are eligible whose age is between 18-27 years.

Indian Post Office Postal and Sorting Assistant Posts : All those candidates who have passed class 12th in any subject from a recognized board are eligible to apply for this examination and age should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years to apply.

SSC MTS Recruitment for candidates passed class 10th from a recognized board.

SSC Constable GD recruitment on 10th basis in CAPF, CRPF, CISF, BSF, SSB, ITBP etc. and age of the candidate should not be more than 23 years as per notice.

IBPS Stans for Institute of Banking Personnel.

Eligibility criteria IBPS Clerk exam :-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 20 years to 28 years for General category candidates.

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates and OBC category candidates 3 years.

IBPS Clerical exam eligibility 2015 :

Educational Qualification :
Candidate must have completed graduation from any recognised University in any discipline.

Age Limit :
Age of candidate must be from 20 to 28 years.
Relaxation is also provided as per government norms. Relaxation is provided as follows :

SC/ST Candidates : 5 years
OBC Candidates : 3 years
PH Candidates: 10 years
Exservice man : actual period of service + 3 years
