Sir,may i get to know the important chapters for kvpy aptitude test for sx stream

KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) is the Aptitude Test conducted to award scholarship funded by Department of Science & Technology of Government of India. KVPY for SX stream is conducted who want to join graduation course such as B.Sc/B.Stat/B.Math/Integrated M.Sc/M.S etc. Questions in KVPY SX will be asked from the science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics).

KVPY SX Stream Eligibility
- You must have enrolled in class 12th with science subjects in the academic year in which KVPY is conducted.
- You must have secured at least 80% marks in aggregate in mathematics and science subjects in class 10th.
- You must have secured at least 60% in science subjects in class 12th.


KVPY Exam Pattern For SX Stream
- It consists of two parts Part I and Part II.
- Part I and Part II each consists of four sections. You have to attempt any three sections in Part I and any two in Part II.
- In Part I, 1 mark will be awarded for correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
- In Part II, 2 marks will be awarded for correct answer and 0.5 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
- Total Marks : 100
- Exam Duration : 3 Hours

Part I (Any Three : 60 Marks)
- Physics : 20 Q (20 Marks)
- Chemistry : 20 Q (20 Marks)
- Maths : 20 Q (20 Marks)
- Biology : 20 Q (20 Marks)

Part II (Any Two : 40 Marks)
- Physics : 10 Q (20 Marks)
- Chemistry : 10 Q (20 Marks)
- Maths : 10 Q (20 Marks)
- Biology : 10 Q (20 Marks)

KVPY Exam Important Dates
- Starting of Registration : 16/07/2017
- Last Date of Registration : 23/08/2017
- KVPY SX Exam : 05/11/2017
- Result Declaration : December, 2017
