Improvement in MA English in PU with new or old syllabus?


I wanted to improve in MA English semester 1 in PUC. I have completed my PG in 2016-18. Syllabus of 1st semester is changed this year. Now, if I appear in improvement exam what syllabus will be for that, new or old for me?
