What I applicable for this exam and how I got this form?

dear friends
Here written below is the different eligibility criteria ...you check them. AGE: General, OBC category candidates should be born on or after October 1st, 1986 and others (SC/ST persons with physical disability) should be born on or after October 1st, 1981. educational Qualifyication : Candidate must have passed XII standard or any equivalent examination for the first time in the calendar year 2010 or 2011. Candidates who passed earlier than 1st January 2010 are not eligible to apply. Those who are expecting the results later than July 1, 2011 are not eligible to apply Minimum percentage of Marks in Class XII Exam for the Candidates belonging to general and OBC categories must have at least 70% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60%. |

hey buddy i gave the IIST last year and the form usually comes out in late october or the first week of november... and recently i saw an ad in the paper regarding it so you can check out the HT papers for the last few days... anyways the eligibility is as follows :-
Eligibility: ISAT-2010 is open for Indian citizens only Date of birth: General, OBC category candidates should be born on or after October 1st, 1985 and others (SC/ST persons with physical disability) should be born on or after October 1st, 1980 Qualifying-examination – class XII: Candidate must have passed XII standard or any equivalent examination for the first time in the calendar year 2009 or 2010, provided the results are available before 1st July 2010 Minimum percentage of marks – class X exam: Candidates belonging to general and OBC categories must have at least 70% in all subjects combined and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60% Minimum percentage of marks – class XII exam: Candidates belonging to general and OBC categories must have at least 70% in aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) papers and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60% BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU'LL HAVE TO GET THE REQUIRED % OF BOARD MARKS IN YOUR FIRST TRY AND NOT A COMPARTMENT OR RE-TRIAL . i.e you have to achieve 70% in pcm in your first year of giving the boards. |

indian institute of Space science and technology...which is located in kerala |

Schedule of ISAT-2011 The examination will be held on Saturday, 16th April, 2011 between 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM (IST) (The schedule will remain unaltered even if the above date is declared a public holiday). ELIGIBILITY FOR ISAT-2011 Candidates must make sure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions given below for appearing in ISAT-2011: 1. Citizenship Only Indian citizens are eligible to write ISAT-2011. 2.Date of Birth The date of birth of candidates belonging to GEN, OBC categories should be on or after October 1, 1986, while the date of birth of those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories should be on or after October 1, 1981. (The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board/ Pre-University certificate/or its equivalent will be accepted). 3. Year of passing Qualifying Examination (QE) A candidate must have passed the QE ( 10 + 2 ) for the first time, in the calendar year 2010 or 2011. Those who are going to appear in the QE after July 1, 2011 or expecting the results of QE later than July 1, 2011 are not eligible to apply for ISAT-2011. 4.Minimum Percentage of Marks in Class X or equivalent examination. Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure at least 70% marks in aggregate in their Class X or equivalent examination, while, those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their Class X or equivalent examination. 5.Minimum Percentage of Marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure at least 70% marks in the aggregate in their Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers in their QE, while, those belonging to SC,ST and PD categories must secure at least 60% marks in the aggregate in their PCM papers in their QE. 6.RESERVATION OF SEATS As per Government of India rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. These categories are: * Scheduled Castes (SC) * Scheduled Tribes (ST) * Other Backward Castes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) * Physically Disabled (PD) candidates.
