KSOU Stands for Karnataka State Open University.

As the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) has not approved the KSOU for offering Technical Courses.

So , you can understand that there will be no value of any technical course from this university whether it is for Government jobs or for Campus placements in MNCs.

Yes,you will be eligible to get jobs in Government sectors after getting a degree from Karnatak State Open University.
-->>Its degree is recognized from UGC,AICTE and DEC.
-->>Its degree has tie up with IGNOU.

But in order to get jobs in Government sectors,you will require to meet these eligibility criteria :-

Age :-
-->>Your age should not be less then 18 years and some cases it will require minimum of 21 years.
-->>Your age should not be above 28 years .

Educational qualification :-
-->>You should be passed out in Engineering course.

Marks :-
-->>If yu belong from the General/OBC category then minimum marks in B.tech should be 60%.
-->>If you belong from the SC/ST/Physically Handicapped then only 50% will require.

There are various government exams in which you can appear for getting government jobs.

Accourding to judgement of Hon'ble suprem court distance engg. degree admmission up to 2009-10 session from state or central university are valid.
