State Bank of India (S.B.I.) is the most common and nationalized bank of India which is conducting the Probationary officer exam and clerical for recruiting candidates for the post of PO and clerk. S.B.I. invites all the Indian eligible candidates to fill online application forms to be recruited as for the post of P.O.

Eligibility Criteria for S.B.I. :

• Candidate must be citizen of India.
• Candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 %
aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course.
• Candidate must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.
• Candidate must be above 21 years of age and must not be more than 30
years of age.

Education Qualification :-

Minimum Qualification for this examination is Intermediate(12th) examination with any stream from a recognized University or equivalent and the candidate have to secure at least 60% aggregate marks in their examination(55% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Pwd/Xs categories).

Graduate degree holders may also eligible to apply for this examination and there is no minimum marks required for this examination.

Candidates who are not completed 12th examination but have completed diploma course after 10th standard are eligible to apply for this examination.

Candidates age should have a minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.12.11(i.e candidates born between 30.11.1983 to 01.12.1993) are only eligible to apply for this examination and relaxation is given to the various reserved categories.

Written examination can be divided into five papers :-

• General awareness
• General Knowledge
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning ability
• Marketing Aptitude
• Computer awareness

The fee for this application is Rs. 350 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 50 for Others. Please note that Payment is to made After Applying Online.

To apply for This, you have to get your photograph and signature scanned and Apply Online and fill details carefully. Take print out of the system generated Fee payment challan and note the Registration Number and password.

The payment of fees can be done using the generated payment challan from second day of application and for next three working days. For example if you apply on 5th january then you'll be able to pay the fees from 7th to 10Th January (Excluding sundays and bank holidays).The registration will be considered only after fee is paid.

On successful registration, you will receive confirmation SMS/Email within 2 working days.

The call Letters for Written exam will be downloaded from Mar 5, 2012 bank website.

Revised Dates of Written Examination : 27-05-2012 and 03-06-2012
Bank may conduct written test on more than two dates, if needed.
On-line Registration will start from : 05-03-2012
