The registration for Common Proficiency Test is open throughout the year and candidates willing to join the course may contact the nearest regional council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The Common Proficiency Test is conducted two times a year:
June and December

To be considered eligible to take the test in the month of June, the last date to register is 31st of March whereas for the test to be conducted in the month of December, the registration must be done on or before 30th September.
