when is the last date to register for amie exam.
still i did not apply for the exam.

Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers(AMIE) is the examination for Associate Membership for the engineers .

The examination is held twice in a year ,in summer and winter. So,the Winter's examination is yet to be held in December.

Date of Exam: December 3-9, 2011.

Form fill up dates:

August 16 to September 19, 2011 for those who were not appeared at Summer 2011 Examinations.

September 19 to October 21, 2011 for those who were appeared at Summer 2011 Examinations.

Examination Fee:Rs. 2000/-. DD should be in favor of "THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS (INDIA)" Payable at Kolkata.

The Examinations of AMIE shall be conducted in 63 examination centres both in India and abroad during December from 3rd to 9th, 2011.On the gazetted holidays, There will not be any examination.

Fees structure for AMIE degree course in India are following :-

Total Fees structure of AMIE degree course is 4800/- Rs.

Membership pack 600/- for Nepal and India.

2200/- FOR Study material and including all books or individual subjects.

500/- for other charges

Important Dates (Tentative)
Date of Winter Exam will be on: Second Week of December, 2012
Date of the Summer Exam will be on: 2 to 8 June, 2012

Eligibility for AMIE:
1. Those candidates can apply for AMIE entrance exam who passed bachelor degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

2. Final examination of 10 + 2 +3 system with English, chemistry, Physics and Mathematics conducted by any state board/ other boards/ universities.

3. Candidates who pass in English is mandatory and aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be at least 45%.
