which is the last date for cpt entrance registration 2012

You can register for the course anytime you want but there use to be a cutoff date
of registration for a particular examination.

If you wish to appear the CPT June 2012 examination then you have to be registered
for the course anyhow on or before 4th April 2012.

Go to http://icai.org/,
take your mouse pointer to the "STUDENTS" dropdown box at the top of the webpage
and click on the course registration form.
Download the registration form for CPT. Take a print of it, fill it well and send it to the
ICAI office as directed in the registration form.

Once you are registered for the course then only you can apply for CPT examination.

You can purchase the CPT application form cum information brochure from ICAI head
office or any regional office on or before 4th April 2012.
You should apply and send your application in such a way that it is received at ICAI
office on or before 25th April 2012.

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Paper-Pencil mode Examination will be held on Sunday, 17th June, 2012 in two sessions as below

Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws

Second Session (i.e. Afternoon Session):- 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)

Section - C General Economics

So you just send the application form to this address or you can get the application form from this address by sending a DD of Rs 450.

You can register for CPT (Common Proficiency Test) at any time but if you want to give June Attempt then you will require to register for CPT Exam before 4 April and if you want to give December Attempt then you will require to register for CPT Exam before 4 October.

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India.

The CPT exam is entry level for those students who want to make there career in Chartered Accountancy.The test consist of four subjects,

1.Accounting,
2.Mercantile Laws,
3.General Economics and
4.Quantitative Aptitude.
