CAT (Common Admission Test) Was Conducted by IIM's Every year.

And to apply for CAT Entrance examination, You need to Pursuing Your Graduate degree Course In Any Discipline from a Recognised University with Minimum 50% marks, Final Year Graduate Candidates are also Eligible to apply for CAT Examination.

But The CAT Examination Notification for 2011 Was Not Yet Come and When the Notification was Declared It will be Updated in the Official website of CAT.

According to the Previous Dates, May Be The CAT Notification was Declared In the Month Of August, So please wait for Few Months/day, To get the complete Information about CAT Examination.

The examination was Held Every year In the Month of November/December.

Candidates may Fill the Application form Online, You are Give the CAT Examination Online also But you have to select the Online Mode Option when you are Fill the CAT Application form.

CAT is very good exam for those student who want to take admission in MBA.CAT exam conducted for admission in IIM college for MBA.

For admission in IIM college you have to score good marks in CAT entrance exam.To apply for CAT entrance exam you have to complete your graduation.after graduation you can apply for CAT exam.

Section I will be Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Section II will have Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, the test duration is 140 minutes (70 minutes for each section). Each section will have 30 questions to be answered, each section has to be answered sequentially (can¡¯t switch forth & back between sections).

The registration process of this year's CAT exam has already been announced and even the exam dates have been announced. CAT as you must be knowing is purely conducted online and they uses basically a 2-3 weeks window to conduct the exam therefore the date and time needs to be selected by you. Here are the important dates related to the exam:-

• Sale of vouchers- Aug 05 - Sep 24, 2013
• Registrations- Aug 05 - Sep 26, 2013
• Exam dates- Oct 16 - Nov 11, 2013
• Results- Jan 14, 2014

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. A bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.
2. 50% of marks in aggregate at graduation level if you belong to the general category.
3. 5% relaxation is applicable only for the SC/ST candidates and differently abled candidates.
4. This exam is open for the final year candidates as well who are waiting for their results to come out.
5. No age limit is there for the candidates to abide by and this exam can be given by them for unlimited times.

Test Duration & Pattern:-

• Two sections are there in the exam:- Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.
• For each section 70 mins have been allotted and from each section you will have to answer 30 questions.
• You dont have the option to choose any section first and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation will come first and then Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.
• There will be an onscreen timer to calculate your time and the moment timer goes off the previous section will go off and will be replaced by the new section.
