NDA : National Defence Academy.

This examination is Conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Comission) Twice in a year for the Recruitment of Army, Naval and Air Force Wings of NDA. For this year Both NDA Examination was already completed and Those who missed the chance to apply for NDA Examination this year, May apply for NDA Examination Next Year.

But to apply for NDA Examination, You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease and you have to fulfill the Height Eligiblity Criteria. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm (162.5 cms for Air-Force). For Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern regions of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, the minimum acceptable heights will be 5 cms less.

Your chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.

If you are Physically and Mentally Fit, then you are eligible for NDA Examination.

Eligiblity Criteria for NDA Examination :

To appear for this examination you must completed your Intermediate examination form a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.

Eligiblity criteria are vary from Wings to Wings :

>> For Naval and Air Force, You have to complete your 12Th examination with maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects.

>> For Army Wings, You have to completed your 12Th examination in any Stream form a recognised Board.

Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA, And to appear for NDA You must have attained the age of 16.5 Years and No attained the age of 19 Years, No age relaxation is applicable in NDA Examination.

About Notification and Dates :

The Notification of NDA Examination will be Published soon in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC Website in the Month of December 2011 and the Online Registration will be Started form January.

The Notification of NDA (I) 2012 Examination will be Published on 31/Dec/2011.

The last date of apply for NDA Examination : 30/Jan/2012

Examination Date : 15/Jan/2012.

So please wait for the Notification and then apply for NDA Examination, The selection are based on Written Test, Medical test and Personal Interview Conducted by SSB. Those who cracked the Written test and Personal Interview are eligible for Training.
