UGC NET Exam :-

• Date of Notification :- 12 / April / 2012
• Last date for submit of application :- 30 / April / 2012
• Last date for receiving the documents :- 07 / May / 2012
• Date of Examination :- 26 / June / 2012

NET Stands for National Eligibility Test , this examination is conducted by University Grants Commission . Mostly the examination is held in the month of June and December .

To apply for this examination , you should have a completed post graduate degree in any stream with 55% aggregate marks in their examination from a recognized University or equivalent qualification . If your belongs to reserved categories like SC / ST / VH / PH and then you must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in their examination .

Those who are pursing in the final year of post graduate degree or awaiting in the exam results may also eligible to apply for National Eligibility Test examination but the candidate have to submit the proof of PG degree before the examination . Failing which they shall be treated as disqualified for NET examination.

For Lectureship :- There is no relaxation for Lectureship examination and the candidate must have attained the age of 19 years .

For Junior Research fellowship :- To apply for JRF , the candidate should not more than 28 years and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories .
