one can get jobs in both public sector as well as private sector after engineering.there are a lots of jobs available after graduation in the different streams.

you can get job in the core companies of your branch . you have not mentioned your branch,some of the top companies for recruitments are as follows:::

however you can also apply for the various exams conducted in the different areas of engineering,after clearing the exam you will get recruited in the different areas::

Exams for engineering graduates

-civil services exam

-bank jobs(which includes jobs for the positions of Bank PO, Bank clerk,bank officers,grade-a and grade -b officers and for thge recruitment of the post of bank managers also)

-state civil services exam which is for different state domiciled candidates)

Engineering graduates have the option to join PSU by qualifying GATE. In banks, they can join as Specialist Officer. Section engineer and Junior Engineer are the main job profiles available in railways. In defense, you can join as Asst Commandant or Coast Guard. Teaching positions in private /government colleges are open for them.
