CLAT 2013 Important Dates


Commencement of sale of application form: 15th January, 2013, Tuesday

Last date for submission of filled in application forms: 30th March, 2013, Saturday, 05.00 p.m.

Display of admit cards/hall tickets upto: 13th April, 2013, Saturday

Date of common law admission test (CLAT)-2013: 12th May, 2013, Sunday

Declaration of results: 31st May, 2013, Friday

Issue of first provisional allotment list along with waiting list: 02nd June, 2013, Sunday

Last date for fee deposit with CLAT office by the candidates of the first provisional allotment list and waiting list to reserve their seats in respective universities: 07th June, 2013, Friday, 04.00 p.m.

Last date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted university: 07th June, 2013, Friday, 04.00 p.m.

Dear friend,

There are various entrance exams conducted in India for LLB course. But now only Delhi University has declared Entrance exam date. No other university has declared their entrance exam date till now.

Eligibility Criteria for Delhi University Entrance Exam:-

1)- You should have passed 12th class from a recognized board.

2)- You should have minimum 50% marks in 12th.

3)- There is 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates,i.e., for SC/ST candidates minimum marks should be 45% in 12th.

Important Dates for Delhi University Law Entrance Test:-

Deposit of Application form Faculty of Law, University of Delhi --> 04 April 2013 to 16 May 2013

Last date for submission of Application Form --> Monday, 16 May 2013, 5.00 p.rn

Issue of Duplicate Admission ticket(In case of non-receipt of original) LLB --> 10th June 2013

Date of LL.B. Entrance Test --> Sunday, 12 June, 2013

Resuil of LLB/LLM Entrance Test --> Within one week of the test.

Exam Syllabus:-

• Aptitude of Learning
• General Knowledge
• General Science
• Language Ability
• Legal Reasoning
• Social Studies.

Total no. of questions- 175.

Time Duration- 2 hours.

In order to take Admission in LLB Course, you will have to appear in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) Exam.

In order to appear in this Exam, you will require the following Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-

>>Your minimum educational qualification should be Intermediate/10+2 pass out in any stream from recognized board/university.

Marks:-

>>If you belong from the General category then your minimum marks should be 50% in 10+2.
>>If you belong from the SC/ST/OBC category then your minimum marks should be 45% in 10+2.

Age:-

>>If you belong from the General/OBC then your age should not be above 20 years.
>>If you belong from the SC/ST then your age should not be above 22 years.

Syllabus for this Exam:-

There will be 5 sections from which the questions will be asked.These sections are:-
>>English Including Comprehension.
>>General Knowledge/Current Affairs.
>>Numerical Ability.
>>Legal Aptitude.
>>Logical Reasoning.

Total Marks for this Exam will be 200.
Total Number of Questions will be 200.
Total duration for this Exam will be 2 hours.
Questions will be objective type with 4 options.

There will be 0.25 Negative Marking for Each Wrong Answers.

Its Form will be Available from 15th January 2013.
