I lost my 10th certificate while travelling in train. What should I do now? Do I need to file FIR for this? Also, how can I get a copy of my certificates from board?

You need to write a letter stating that you list your class 10th certificates and submit to the principal of the higher secondary school from which you passed class 10th. Then, he will forward it to the state educational board and you have a chance to get duplicate certificates of your class 10th examination. I prefer to contact the principal , he will guide you better than me.
