Is Madurai Kamaraj not a recognized university?


Hi everyone, I am studying MA in History from Madurai Kamaraj University. I have heard that this is not a recognized university. Is it true? Please let me know about this because when I heard this I am very much worried about my course.

The Madurai Kamaraj University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Directorate of Distance Education (DDE). The degree obtained from this university is valid for employment in Central and State governments.
