Is it mandatory to opt for Social Studies in CTET application form?

Respected Sir, I am a B.Com graduate and have done B.Ed with English and Economics as my subjects. I want to appear for CTET exam with second subject as Math and Science. Is it compulsory to take Social Studies (as usually SS is the subject clubbed with English) and English is my main teaching subject?

The CTET exam is conducted by the CBSE board twice in a year and it comprises of 2 paper

Minimum age limit 17 years
For class 1 -5 candidate must have cleared or must be still persuing 2 year diploma in elementary education
Or

Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
