# JAM stands for Joint Admission Test.
# IIT-JAM is an entrance examination conducted usually in the month of February every year for making admission into master degree or postgraduate degree programmes at followings institutes: * Indian Institute of Science * Indian Institutes of Technology * and many more institutes # Suggested reference books for IIT-JAM Chemistry are: * Ramesh Publishing House IIT-JAM M.Sc. (Chemistry) Previous Years Solved Papers * Organic Chemistry by Morrison and Boyd * Inorganic Chemistry by J.D. Lee * IIT-JAM Entrance Exam Mock Tests by Amit Aggrawal * IIT Chemistry by O.P. Aggrawal * Physical Chemistry by O.P. Tendon # Few useful tips for candidates who are preparing for IIT-JAM: * As IIT-JAM is conducted though online mode. So it is required that candidate should be proficient in computer applications * Solve out more and more old and mock tests as possible. * Refer standard books of university authors while preparing for the examination. * Make a short pocket notes and keep them in your pocket.
