Mentioning wrong state in WBPSC form will affect my candidature or not?


During form fill up of WBPSC state name wrongly mentioned in present address column but other details like building name, area, district and pin code is correct, I am selected for interview but this mistake will cancel my candidature or not?

1. Furnishing wrong information in application form is prohibited. Your candidature can be cancelled on this ground.

2. However, if you inform WBPSC regarding this mistake then you will be spared. Inform them as soon as possible.
