Hello Sir/Madam, I am going to apply for MPSC PSI recruitment. I would like to know that what height is required for applying in this recruitment. Kindly let me know about the minimum height. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

Physical Standards for MPSC PSI :
For male: height - 165 cms ( approx.),
chest - 79-84 cms.
For Female : height - 157 cms ( approx.)

For Male Candidates:
Height: 165 CM (approximately)
Chest (Lower): 79 CM
Chest (Higher): 84 CM (Minimum Expansion of 5 CM)
For Female Candidates:
Height: 157 CM (approximately)

Minimum height required to apply for MPSC PSI recruitment are as follows:-

Height- 165 cm
Chest (lower)-79 cm
Chest (upper)- 84 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm.

For Female candidates-
Height- 157 cm approx.

Minimum height required to apply for MPSC PSI recruitment are:-

Height- for male aspirants it is 165 cms and for women it is 161 cms.
Chest- for male aspirants it is 79-84 cms.

The eligibility criteria for PSI in MPSC:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

2. Your age must not be above 28 years.

3. The minimum height for male candidates is 165 cms and for female candidates is 155 cms.

The acronym MPSC PSI stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission Police Sub Inspector.

Academic qualification: Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Physical criteria: The minimum height required is 165 cms for male candidates and 155 cms for female aspirants.

It is true that female applicants for PSI post require 150 cm height. There is however relaxation of 5 cm for hillmen and tribal women. Try your luck for it. You can get that experience for applying to other posts. On mahampsc.mahaonline.gov.in if you give mpsc entrance exam you will be have many options for applying if your score is good e.g. Sales Tax, PWD etc.
