# Studying in Kindergarten is most important phase in the life of kid. As every kid initially learn basic of education such as English alphabets, Hindi alphabets, numbers, names of fruits/animals/birds/parts of body etc.

# As there is different age limit for admission in Kindergarten for each school. However, general age limit required is as under:

* 3.5 years by 1st June for Lower Kindergarten (LKG)
* 4.5 years by 1st June for Upper Kindergarten (UKG)

# It is advisable that one should enrolled his/her kid in the Kindergarten as per following age limit:

* 4.5 years for for Lower Kindergarten (LKG)
* 5.5 years for Upper Kindergarten (UKG)

# Don't try to enrolled your kid in Kindergarten at very younger age. If any kid get admission in Kindergarten in very young age, then he/she will face following problems:

* Kid has to struggle with home-work and hand-writing.
* There will demoralising effect on younger kids in the group of older one kids.
* Kids of older age are able to face the routine home-work, hand-writing etc.

Thumbs up Re: Minimum and maximum age for admitting a child into Lower Kindergarten?

You Can admit your child at the age of 3 years in Lower kindergarten, then it will be sufficient for the Board exams which will be good in terms of certificates and age with studies.

You can admit directly in to the Primary school with out kindergarten also, but if you wish you can admit at the age of 3 years on wards.

As per CBSE rules, the minimum requirement to get admission in pre primary classes is 4 year or above because if you will admit your child before age of 4 year than he Will face problem in board exams of CBSE.The minimum age requirement to get admission in the X class is 14 years or above.Their is no maximum age limit to appear in CBSE board exams.
