Minimum qualification to became a M.P. is that you should have atleast 21 years old and you should be an indian. however for becoming an M.P. you should have lot of contacts with dignicious persons, otherwise it will be practically very tough.

dear friend
no basic qualification required for this other than convicted persons, any body can become MP if voted. short cut route is through Rajya Sabha. I agree with you that a peon need to have qualification but no qualification for these rulers who never rule or attend Parliament where 60000 is spent every minute of the sitting day.

There is no no need of educational qualification to be a M.P. as they are represented by the public.
And the result you can see in corruption.

hi..
the most important qualification to become an M.P is to be an indian citizen,
there is no educational qualification to become an member of parliament,
but there is an lower age limit of 25 years,
so that means any indian citizen who is 25 years or above can become an member of parliament if he wins an election,
also he should not be declared as an spy

The minimum qualification to become an M.P is as under-
1.Any aspiring MLA/MP or PM must be a graduate (in any stream).
2.In addition before contesting any election the candidate should undergo a course of two years in governance.
3. An Independent national Institute should conduct course. Course should be offered in all constitutionally recognized languages.
As now a days English language is more popular so its better for HIM to be a fluent in spoken & written english too.A computer knowledge can also add as an advantage for HIM.

There are several things to be looked into

Educational qualification - No educational qualification is required whatsoever. It is
amusing still unfortunate rule.

You must be a registered voter to contest elections for lok sabha.

candidates for rajya sabha are nominated by government.

AGE-Article 84 (b) of Constitution of India says that the minimum age for becoming a

candidate for Lok Sabha election shall be 25 years. Similar provision exists for a

candidate to the Legislative Assemblies vide Article 173 (b) of the Constitution read
with Sec. 36 (2) of the R. P. Act, 1950.

and one more thing is that the person should not have been convicted in a case fro

any crime for more than 3 years of jail, under this condition you will not be eligible for

contesting elections

Although there is no minimum qualification prescribed to MPs except age of 25 either gender but practically he should be a rogue.lying, shouting, non patriotic, lazy, insincere, shameless non intelligence etc.etc. Then only he can be popular and revered by public. This is the sad story of Indian Parliamentary system.

There is no requirement of qualification for becoming an MP .
If you wish to become a MP then,
The following three minimum qualifications are essential-
1) One should be literate enough to understand world affairs.
2) Commitment and determination to serve people.
3) Honesty, integrity and love for the country.
GOOD LUCK.

Its very silly thing to here that in such a biggest democratic country when each and erery thing having a test or an exam then why no qualification to a member of parliament who going to serve the country"s politics, I think that some qualification & some exams must be there , for a khalasi job we are going through several exams and tests then why not for M.P. it is not correct , our election commission should think of it.
