i want to know what is the minimum education required to become an executive engineer in government,also the exam which should be cleared for doing so

to be an executive engineer in government institutions like NTPC,ONGC,NHPC,BHEL etc
you must be having atleast a BE or b.tech degree from a recognised institute,with a good marks because they holds weightage during final selections.

further you have to write some exams like GATE to get into some of these companies,while other companies heve there own written exams followed by an interview.

after all these they will be calling you to join the company on the basis of merit list prepared.

for executive engineer you must have done your B.TECH with very good percentage..after M.TECH, you can also appear for it.
first,the company will take ypur exam then,if qualified.the selection procedure is based on merit list.

minimum requirement is B.tech.......well u can go for this job after M.tech also...u can join as junior engineer also..after some time they will promote u as executive engineer

you should be an graduate in engineering and then clear IES after which you should have at least experience of then 10 years only then you are made executive engineer in government jobs

is MTECH compulsory to become an executive engineer in government jobs

the best way to become a executive engineer is to clear indian engineering services and u will be placed as an assitant executive engineer, after 5 years you are eligible to promotion by selection to become an executive engineer.....otherwise, on a time-scale you will be made an EE in 8-10 years depending upon the department

To become an Executive Engineer you will have to pass the under graduation with B.Tech with a good marks ......

Then secondly you must have a work experience of more then 15 years ,then automatically you will be promoted to the Executive Rank...

to become an executive engineer you must hold BE/B.tech degree from a recognized institution. you may join as executive engineer in private or government company. there are few sector in which you have to get minimum of 60% marks to be an employee throughout the career. the competition is very high so you need more marks and more skill. experienced candidate is preferred more for this post very much.

The minimum qualification required for Executive engineer is B.Tech + M.Tech.
If your marks in B.Tech and IN M.TECH is good then you are eligible for Executive engineer.
