Hi, I have completed my 12th - Intermediate from NIOS Board. So, am I eligible for applying and writing the Airmen group 'Y' examination? If no, then what should I do to become eligible for it?

You should have mentioned your age and 12th percentage.

-->> eligible criteria for Airmen (gr Y):
1. Candidates must have secured 50% aggregate marks in 12th with English.
2. Age between 17 to 21 years candidates are eligible.
3. Minimum height is 152 cms.
**The educational qualification is different for Medical Assistant (Airmen group-Y)

The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Air force Airmen Group Y recruitment are as below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 50% marks overall from a recognised board.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.
