AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Model Papers !!

Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer

You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.(More Details See the Notification)

Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions.

R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Competition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS.

I have attached some Model test Papers But Previous year Papers are not available on net so It is better to go with syllabus and recommended books.

AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test

This exam is conducted for candidates for Short Service Commission SSC / Regular in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.

The syllabus for the AFCAT exam may include:

• Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Verbal ability
• Numerical ability
• General Aptitude

Pattern for AFCAT:

As you have asked for the papers for AFCAT,i have mentioned them in a file attached.

AFCAT Papers:

AFCAT examination is conducted by the IAF for recruitment to the different branches in the Air force .The examination is conducted for selecting students for ::

1.Ground duty branches
2.Technical branches
3.Flying branch .

The examination consists of 100 questions and of 2 hours duration of total 300 marks .The examination consists of 4 sections ::

English language.
Numerical Ability.
General Awareness
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.

hi u r eligble for AFCAT exam on feb 26 2012....u need apply through university entry scheme.....refer the employment news or IAF website.

i am studying final year Information technology.
In above page you write that 60% for all year.it means i have 60% in all my semester Or 60% at the completion of my engineering ?

Details of the AFCAT exam:-

1.Flying branch :-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have maths and physics in 12th..

Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.

2.Technical branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.

Age should be in between 18-28 years.

3.Ground duty branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

Age should be in between 20-27 years.

I have attached some question paper of AFCAT exam .So please check it out.This paper are really helpful for you.

The courses for which you can apply in AFCAT are:

-Flying Branch
-Technical Branch
-Ground Duty Branches

In case of Flying Branch, your educational qualification should be B.E/B.Tech degree or graduate in any disciplane with the minimum 60% and age should be 19 - 23 yrs.

In case of Technical Branch, the educational qualification is aeronautical engineering with minimum 60%marks and age should be 18 - 28 yrs.

In case of Ground Duty Branch, your educational qualification should be post graduate or bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% and age should be 20 - 27 yrs.

AFCAT will be of 2 hours with multiple choice of questions, and the sections are:

1. Reasoning
2. Numerical ability
3. Verbal ability (English)
4. General Awareness, GK
5. General Aptitude

The number of questions would be around 100+..
