AFCAT examination is conducted by the IAF for recruitment to the different branches in the Air force .The examination is conducted for selecting students for ::
1.Ground duty branches 2.Technical branches 3.Flying branch . The examination consists of 100 questions and of 2 hours duration of total 300 marks .The examination consists of 4 sections :: English language. Numerical Ability. General Awareness Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. I have attached the previous year papers of the AFCAT i hope it will help you to prepare for the exam. |

The courses for which you can apply in AFCAT are:
-Flying Branch -Technical Branch -Ground Duty Branches In case of Flying Branch, your educational qualification should be B.E/B.Tech degree or graduate in any disciplane with the minimum 60% and age should be 19 - 23 yrs. In case of Technical Branch, the educational qualification is aeronautical engineering with minimum 60%marks and age should be 18 - 28 yrs. In case of Ground Duty Branch, your educational qualification should be post graduate or bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% and age should be 20 - 27 yrs. AFCAT will be of 2 hours with multiple choice of questions, and the sections are: 1. Reasoning 2. Numerical ability 3. Verbal ability (English) 4. General Awareness, GK 5. General Aptitude The number of questions would be around 100+.. Some patterns of the papers are attached below..... |
