Nepali citizen is eligible for IBPS exam or not?


Well actually i am a Nepali citizen but i have done my +2 from India and have been doing engineering from india itself, so am i eligible for ibps exam or not?

Yes definitely Nepali citizens are eligible to appear in IBPS exams.

They have to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

Candidate must have done graduation from recognised University.

No minimum percentage criteria there

Minimum age limit should be 21 and maximum should be 30 years.

Yes, you are eligible for IBPS exam.

Only those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS PO and clerk exam.

Participants must have these citizenship which is given below.

Citizen of Indian
Citizen of Nepal
Citizen of Bhutan
A Tibetan refugee

For IBPS po exam, your age should be 20 to 30 years.

For IBPS clerk exam, your age should be 20 to 28 years.

Yes.You are eligible to apply for IBPS as you are nepali citizen. you have been doing engineering. so , you can apply for IBPS cleark as well as PO also.

Eligibility
- You must have citizenship of India/Nepal/Bhutan.
- You must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university for IBPS PO & Cleark.
- Age Limit : 20 to 28 years on august month of the examination year.

Syllabus
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning
- English
- General Awareness
- Computer Knowledge


Tentative IBPS 2016 Dates
- Preliminary Exam : 16th , 22nd & 23rd October , 2016
- Main Exam : 20th November , 2016

# Yes, citizen of Nepal are also considered eligible for IBPS Examinations. For this, it is required that that Nepali citizen must presently residing in Indian territory and also have permanent citizenship of India.

# IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

# IBPS is primarily meant for conducting a common competitive examination for the post of clerk in all nationalised banks except State Bank of India (SBI). Actually, State Bank of India conducted its own competitive examination for selection.

# Prescribed age limit for IBPS Bank Clerical Examination is as follows:

* 18-27 years for General category
* 18-30 years for OBC category
* 18-32 years for SC/ST category
* 18-37 years for Physically Handicapped category

# Prescribed age limit for IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) Examination is as follows:

* 18-30 years for General category
* 18-33 years for OBC category
* 18-35 years for SC/ST category
* 18-40 years for Physically Handicapped category

# Here below there are some suggested books for IBPS Examinations are:

* Objective Arithmetic by S.L. Gulati
* Analytical Reasoning by A.K. Pandey
* Verbal Reasoning by R.S. Aggrawal

* English for Competitive Examination by A.K. Kapoor
* English for Competitive Examination by Harimohan Prashad
* Kiran's Data Interpretation and Sufficiency

# Different sections of Written objective type test are:

* Quantitative Aptitude
* English Language
* Reasoning Ability
* General Studies & Current Affairs with special reference to economy, banking sector etc.
* Computer Knowledge

Here each section carry 40 questions with total 40 marks.
