If a student of Science stream of class 11th passes in all subjects but fails in Mathematics then will the student get promoted to class 12th? Or, do he/she need to repeat the whole class 11th?

If you have six subjects then it is not necessary to pass in Mathematics. As among six subjects , the total marks is calculated over the best of five subjects. In that case you will considered pass. If you take five subjects having no optional, in that case if you will fail in one subject. You cannot be promoted in 12th.
