Re: Past years exam papers of IAS and RAS?
hello friends..
For the civil services the Union Public Service Commission conducts the All India Combined Competitive Examination every year. This exam is considered to be the one of the most prestigious exams in the country. The exam is held in two stages- the preliminary exam which is objective type and the main exam which is subjective and is followed by an interview. -> Following papers are included in the main examination: 1. Paper I- It is on one Indian language which is to be selected by the candidate and is of 300 marks. 2. Paper II- the second paper is of English and carries 30 marks. 3. Paper III- paper three is of the essay section and carries 200 marks. 4. Paper IV and V- both the papers are of 300 marks and on general studies. 5. Paper VI to IX- these are optional papers selected by the candidate. Two papers are to be selected with each carrying 300 marks. The duration of each paper is 3 hours. |
