I am Venkatesh doing final year engineering. To get through my campus placements, I need some help to guide me with the TCS question pattern and also other companies pattern to help me get through my placement as it may be useful for me in preparing for my campus and also give some tips to improve my communication skills.

To improve your communication skills just first start talking in English how much you know is a best way to improve rather than anything else ..for tcs following details.

Eligibility:-
1.)need to have consistence 60% from 10th,12th and B.tech..
2.)Should not have more than 2years Education Gap....

TCS recruitment procedure:--
1.)Written Test.
2.)Technical Interview
3.)Hr interview

TCS question paper are consist of two parts
1. Reasoning or general aptitude
2. technical aptitude

very fundamental question comes in both the paper. examination is not so much difficult. but you have the basic knowledge of your subject and general knowledge to clear the examination.

after the examination you have to appear in interview. interview question also asked from general concepts.

well venkatesh even i am a final year engineering student,

you need to do study some of following books like
1.R S AGARWAL for reasoning.

for one thing you have to well prepare for yourself as communication skills.

what you do,
if you girl friend or your male friends try to talk to them in English,

in doing so, you can improve your English.

even you can join on the English program like VITA, or other spoken English programs.

The recruitment process of most of the companies including TCS consists of 3 stages:
Written test
technical interview
HR & management interview

TCS Latest Placement Paper at SJB college Of Eng,bangalore on Aug 22nd 2010 was as follows:

Aptitude Test consisted of 35 questions and there was Negative Marking of 0.33 per wrong answer. The bench mark for selection was 22marks. It was an easy test where more than 25 questions can be cleared easily.

Some of the tips for improving your communication skill: Start talking with your friends & family in english, increase your vocabulary, Pay attention to pronounciation of words.

You have to go through the aptitude test, technical round and finally the HR interview.

Speaking skills cannot be improved over a night. Its some thing which can be improved only through regular practice.
Try to pronounce the words loudly so that, you can learn and get accustomed to the actual pronunciation of it.

Please, do not hesitate while speaking to others especially the interviewers because, they will primarily check your level of confidence.

got 3 backlogs . but got in communication skills
average of 2 years percentage is more then 65%

my area of concern is dat i hv appeared 4 my 10th exam in 2005 nd 12th in 2008 due to severe accident.will i b able to sit for placement?

TCS EXAMINATION PATTERN

Dear,
TCS is one of the top most IT company of India.
Currently the rank of TCS is First among all the Indian companies.

If you want to see yourself at TCS then you have to give a placement test, on the basis of test you will be selected.

Before going to discuss pattern of exam I would like to talk about eligibility for TCS

Eligibility
•-> 4 year graduation degree in engineering.
•-> Gap year of more than 2 year is not allowed.
•-> 60% min. marks in engineering.
•-> No back

Examination Pattern
•-> Written test
- Quant (Maths)
- English (Verbal ability)
- Logical Reasoning
•-> Technical interview
•-> HR interview

Noe a days pattern get changed. TSC question paper only contains Numerical ability problems. So, give more emphasis on Quant portion.

1.ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION :
The candidate must score minimum 60% marks throughout academic career.
