PGT is Post Graduate Teacher in KEndriya Vidyalay.
You have to apply online for it through KVS website.Offline mode is not permitted.

Forms were available from 30/10/2010 to 30/11/2010.
Dates have already lapsed. So you cant apply for KVS PGT.Still do not lose hope as you can prepare well & appear for it next time.

Notification related to it were published in Employment Newspaprer too.So keep reading it so that you do not miss the chance next time.

Eligibility:
1) Age:
Maximum age 40 years.
2) Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have done PG in M.Sc course of regional college of education of NCERT or must have masters degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

Date of exam for KVS PGT Preliminary :11-2-2011(Friday)
Date of KVS PGT Mains :8-4-2011(Friday)

As the exams are held for selecting candidate so it is obvious that selsection will be on the basis of merit .

I think there is No exam for PGT based on the Merit only.
All exams of PGT based on the main exam and interview test.
Which is all based on the authority of that exam.
