dear friend,
You want to appear in NET exam, which is conducted by UGC every year for Lectureship course/ Junior research fellowship course.. Eligibility for NET exam:------------------------ 1.The candidate must have complete the post graduation in any trade from a recognized university.. 2.Final year candidates are also can apply for the exam. 3.The candidate has to secure 55% aggregate through out the post graduation.. 4.for Lectureship course:-- No upper age limit For Junior research fellowship course:-- upper age limit is 28 years. 5.The candidate must be a citizen of India.. Re: Are Pharmacy Graduates eligible to apply for NET exams?
Dear Shanila,
Sorry to say but you are not eligible for the NET Exam even if you have a Bachelor`s Degree in Pharmacy and currently pursuing Master`s Degree in Pharmacology. This is because the minimum educational qualification required for the NET exam is Post Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 55% marks from any UGC recognized university. The Full Form of NET is National Eligibility Test. As the name suggests , this test is conduced on national level by the University Grants Commission twice every year. The National Eligibility Test is conducted in the months of June and December. The University Grants Commission conducts this test for the selection of candidates for the below mentioned posts : 1) College Lectureship 2) Junior Research Fellowship The Essential requisites for the National Eligibility Test : >> The candidate must have completed Post Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. >> The candidate must have completed Post Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks. >> The candidates in final year of Post Graduation can also apply. >> The candidate should have no pending backlogs. >> There is no age limit for the post of Lecturership. >> The age of the candidate for JRF post must be in between 20-28 years. >> OBC Candidates get a relaxation of 3 years. >> SC/ST Candidates get 5 years age relaxation. >> SC/ST Candidates also get 5% marks relaxation. >> The candidate must be an Indian. >> Both Male and Female Candidates can apply. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
