Well actually i am planning to get PhD from private university which is needed for my job confirmation. Does this certificate is valid in UGC?.

If your Ph.D degree is valid as per UGC norms or your university is approved by UGC, then you are eligible for jobs.

So before doing Ph.D course from private university you must check whether your university is recognized or not.

The degree certificates will be valid if the institute is affiliated to UGC.
UGC stands for University Grant Commission.
It is established for determination and maintenance of standard of university education in India.
If the university from which you are going for PhD is affiliated to UGC then the degree issued by the university will be valid.
So, you must collect all information regarding the university before admission that whether the university is affiliated/recognized by UGC or not.
If possible, try to take admission in central universities which will be much better than any private university.

I got an offer from sri sathya sai university and medical sciences sehore madya pradesh for PhD. When I searched on UGC site, it mentioned that sri sathya sai university and medical sciences sehore madya pradesh is a private university, inspection was done by UGC but the columns mentions:approval letter should not be granted at this time it may be granted after few acadamic sessions can i proceed with this university. Please tell me. Is PhD degree from private universities valid or not..

I am planning to do Ph.D. from Suvepally Radhakrishnan University, Bhopal but it is a Private University. Please help me out whether it is valid or not for Teaching Profession.

Answer: Sri Satya Sai university sehore MP is a under section 2 f UGC 1956 approved university and AICTE approved and university validation available on UGC and AICTE website.

SSSUTMS all course are valid as per UGC norms.

I get chance in Shyam university Rajasthan, it is a private university. Is the degree is valid for education job.

Is there any disadvantage of doing ph.d through private university rather thn govt. University
