I have done MA with Political Science. Can I give Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) exam now? When and how to apply for it? Do I need to apply online or offline? Is there any charges for applying?

To apply for the PGT, the minimum required qualification is that candidate must have passed master degree and also done B.Ed course.

So, if you do not have B.Ed qualification, then you have to pursue the course and only after the course, you will become eligible to appear for recruitment examination.

You also need to have B.Ed course to become eligible to appear for PGT examination other than having master degree qualification.

PGT is Post Graduate Teacher and for the recruitment the required minimum qualification is master degree with B.Ed course.

Eligibility for PGT exam with MA Political Science are as follows:-
Candidates must have completed their Post-graduation degree in a relevant stream with at least 55% aggregate from a recognised university.
Candidate must have completed B.Ed with relevant stream.

You are eligible to give PGT examination after pursuing the B.Ed course.
