I want to change my college after 2nd year. Now I'm studying under Calcutta University, BA Sociology (Hons). I want to shift to other college under same university. Is it possible to shift in 3rd year from my college to another college affiliated to Calcutta University only?

You can only change your college in first year and you can even change your subjects during the first year. However, you should have a valid reason to do the college change.

There is no provision to change the college from second year to third year as only year is left.

If you want to change the college year then you would need to contact your college to get the Transfer certificate and the college you want to get admission during second year. You have to check whether the subjects and seats are available for your course.

There is a certain time limit in which you can change college.

You can contact your college, if they allow you to do the changes in 2nd year.
