Yes, you are eligible for studying your higher studies in astrophysics after completing graduation in chemical engineering.

The basic eligibility required is to complete graduation in any science related stream with minimum 50% from any recognised university.

The admission process varies based on the university. Few universities give admissions based on the previous years performance. Few universities give admissions based on the entrance exam conducted by the university.

There are many universities which provide masters in astrophysics. Some of them are listed below:

- Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana
- Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh
- Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab
- Loyola College, Chennai, Tamilnadu
- Presidency college, Chennai, Tamilnadu
- IIT, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh
- Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh
- University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Is there any eligibility criteria to be fulfilled like had your undergraduate degree from physics related field or one can just switch branch between chemical to astrophysics?also suggest some relevant Colleges that give astrophysics without any eligibility criteria.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
