Yes, credit transfer is Genuine and official but not all colleges gonna accept transfer. Mostly Deemed universities accept these kind of transfer..
Colleges that are under UGC and accept transfer that i know:
MGR university
Bharath university
Prist university
AVIT
St peters university
Vels university
Meenakshi university
Career point university- kota
Etc...Etc..
