is it possible to do diploma in engineering from open university which is not aicte approved.is it valid for government jobs or not.

Diploma course done in any discipline from open university which is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education is not valid for any government job. Candidates who wish to do government job or higher studies option after diploma must pursue this course from institute which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

There are very less government job options after diploma in engineering. It would be better for you to pursue Bachelor of Technology after diploma in engineering. The entrance examination that is conducted for diploma candidates to get enrolled in degree course is Lateral Entry Entrance Test. For this examination, minimum of 60% marks is required in diploma.
