Is Post Graduation compulsory for the post of Assistant Engineer in TNEB?
Sir/Mam, I am an Aeronautical Engineering graduate and currently pursuing Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering. Will I be eligible for the post of Assistant Engineer in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) after completing my Post Graduation?

Postgraduation is not compulsory to apply for the post of Assistant Mechanical Engineer in TNEB. With bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering and postgraduation in mechanical engineering, you can't apply for the post of Assistant Mechanical Engineer in TNEB.
TNEB AE (Mechanical) Eligibility - You must have passed bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering from a recognized university or passed AMIE (section A & B) under Mechanical branch of engineering. - Your age must be between 18 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. Important Dates of Application - Online Application Available From : 24th January, 2020 - Last Date of Online Application : 24th February, 2020 - Last Date of Online Fee Payment : 24th February, 2020 - Last Date of Fee Payment via Challan : 27th February, 2020 |
