AFCAT is an Entrance test conducted for Selection of candidates in defence sector various branch of Indian Air force(Flying, ground, Technical).

Flying Branch:-If you have completed BE/B.Tech degree then you are applicable for flying branch exam.Your 12th standard subject must be physics and Mathematics .

Age = 19 to 23 years .

Technical Branch:-If you have completed BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering so you are applicable for Technical Branch exam.

Age = 18 to 28 years .

Ground Duty Branch:-If you have completed in PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects then you are applicable for Ground Duty Branches .

Age = 19 to 27 years .

AFCAT Exam Details:-

Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted by the Indian Air force every year.

Flying Branch:-

You need to have a bachelor's degree in any area with minimum 60% of marks or a B.E./B.Tech degree with 60% of marks. You should have passed 12th with physics and mathematics. Your age should vary between 19 and 23 years.

Technical Branch:-

You need to have a B.E./B.Tech in aeronautical engineering from a recognized university or institution. It should be a four year full time degree. Your age should vary between 18 and 28 years.

Ground Duty Branch:-

Administrative and Logistic Branch:- You need to have bachelor's degree in any discipline with 60 percent of marks or you can have a post graduate degree or equivalent diploma degree in any discipline with minimum 50 percent of marks in aggregate.

Accounts Branch:- You need to have 60 percent in B.Com (commerce) or you can do your post graduation in M.Com/ICWA/CA and ensure 50 percent marks in aggregate.

Education Branch:- You have to complete your post graduation in any discipline and ensure 50 percent of marks in aggregate.

Your age should be between 19 and 27 years.

Selection Procedure:-

You have to go through the following selection procedure to finally get selected:-

• Intelligence Test
• Psychological Test/Group Test/Interview
• Pilot Aptitude Battery Test
