Information Regarding IIT JEE Examination.

IIT JEE is the most famous engineering entrance examination which is conducted by the management of IIT college for the admission in the 1st year engineering course at IIT college. Every year a large number of candidates appear in this exam to test their fate but seat is limited so competition become really hard. To appear in the IIT JEE exam you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass 12th class with minimum 60% aggregate marks in the PCM subject. The 12th board exam appearing student are also eligible to apply for the IIT JEE examination.

NOTE :- A candidates can appear in IIT JEE only two times once in the appearing of 12th class and other after just next year. Example : If you pass the 12th class in the year 2012 then you will be eligible for IIT JEE in the year 2012 and in 2013.

If your son is studying in the 8th class then i advise them that after passing 10th class they can start preparation for the IIT JEE entrance examination. If you have needed previous year paper of IIT JEE examination then for help i attached the previous year paper of IIT JEE. Please see the below attached file and download it.

Dear friend,

IIT-JEE exam has now been modified to JEE Advanced Exam.

For appearing in JEE Advanced Exam, you will have to first qualify JEE Mains Exam.

You will have to be in Top 1.5 lakh candidates of JEE Mains to be eligible for JEE Advanced Exam.

I have attached previous year question papers of IIT-JEE exam.

However, you can also view previous year question papers of IIT-JEE exam through official site of IIT-JEE i.e. http://jee.iitd.ac.in/

As your son is studying in Class 8 now, so it is very early to start preparation of IIT-JEE exam.

He should first qualify High School Board Exams, and then start preparation for IIT-JEE exam.

He can prefer some of the following books for the preparation of IIT-JEE exam.
