Procedure to apply for IAS exam? Where to get the form? Can you please give me the minimum criteria which are needed to apply? Please provide me with the details on this. Hope that I will get the answer for this soon as possible. Thank you!

IAS - IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Services

Qualification -
1. Minimum Graduation or final year in graduation
2. Minimum 50% or above marks

Eligibility -

1. Age - Minimum 21 years and maximum age varies as per your category

Forms are filled online on UPSC Website as the exam is conducted by UPSC. You can get yourself notified for the exam from upsc website. Generally notifications are out in the month of April to May and exam is conducted in the month of Aug.

Exam Pattern -

Stage 1 -Pre
Stage 2 - Mains
Stage 3 - Interview

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. It is one of the popular civil service in India.

Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will conduct common written exam for the candidates to make entry into various civil services like
IAS (Indian Administrative Service)
IPS (Indian Police Service)
IFS (Indian Foreign Service) etc.

The selection process consists of the following rounds
Civil Services Preliminary Exam
Civil Services Main Exam
Interview

Till 2016, the procedure to apply for civil services exam is offline where in you need to fill the application form and send it to the designated address.

But now the process is online. You need to apply for the exam in online mode only.

For this academic year, the civil services preliminary exam is already over.

Hence you need to apply for next academic year only. The notification will be released in the month of February next year.

Till then, I suggest you to have a good preparation for this Exam.

Once the notification is released, all the details will be there in the notification

-fee amount
-procedure to apply etc.

Accordingly, you apply for the Exam and crack it.

As per the eligibility criteria to apply for civil services :
-One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

First thing I would like to let you know that the official name if IAS ( Indian Administrative Service ) examination is Civil Services examination and same examination is held by UPSC once every year for recruitment of administrative officers like IAS, IPS, IFS, etc. .

* The minimum criteria required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :-

a) You must have the citizenship of India.

b) Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years if you belong to general category. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

c) You must have either completed your graduation degree course or must be in the final year of same degree course from a recognized university.

As far as you are concerned about the procedure for applying for the same examination then it is very easy as application forms are filled online which is expected to be available by the 10th January 2018 and will last till 5th February 2018 with the examination scheduled to be held on 3rd June 2018.
