Company Secretary Course are divided into 3 stages, Firstly Foundation Programme, Secondly Executive Programme and Professional Programme.

If you are Interested to apply for Foundation Programme, Then for this you have to passed Senior Secondary Examination (12th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board. There are no restrictions with regard to age of the candidate or marks secured in 12th Examination.

Duration of Foundation Programme is 8 months, excluding the months of admission and the examination. Admission is open throughout the year. So if you are interetsed then you can obtained the Prospectus and Application Form for CS Foundation Programme on cash payment of Rs. 200 at C-37, Sector-62, Noida or from ICSI-NIRC Building, Plot No. 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, Rajendra Place, New Delhi.

Students of any stream like Arts, Science and Commerce excluding Fine Arts, can pursue the CS Foundation Programme conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

And to Clear the foundation programme you need to score at least 40 percent marks in each paper and 50 per cent marks in aggregate.
