Re: Procedure to become a Railway Engine Driver?
To appear for examination it is necessary to have ITI degree or diploma in engineering to appear for Loco Pilot entrance examination.
So, with B.E degree in mechanical engineering you are eligible to appear for ALP ( Assistant Loco Pilot ) entrance examination conducted by Railway Recruitment Board. |

Re: Procedure to become a Railway Engine Driver?
Being a loco pilot candidates should have minimum 10th passed qualification.
If candidates have higher qualification than 10th then it would be more plus point. Candidates must have any technical knowledge/degree like ITI and Diploma. If candidates have B.Tech they can direct appear for Assistant pilot according to railway requirements. Willing candidates have to appear for a entrance examination. After cracking exam candidates called for personal interview. |
