Re: Procedure followed to do LLB through correspondence? Admission procedure and fee structure to apply?
You can study LLB through correspondence but you'll be not eligible to practice Law.
The bar council of law has declared that the candidates who are studying full time and having full attendance are only eligible to practice the Law and can become an advocate. If you wanted to study law without practicing law then you need to visit the college and fill the application form and submit the required documents. The admissions in correspondence will be given based on the merit performance in the previous year qualifying exam. |

To be eligible to pursue LLB course through correspondence, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course in Arts/ Commerce/ Science stream from a Government recognised university. You should have to appear in CLAT or LAWCET, qualify and participate in the counselling process to get admission for pursuing LLB course. The fee structure for pursuing LLB course varies from college/ university to college/ university and it may range from Rs.1 lakhs to Rs.2 lakhs per year and the duration of LLB course is 3 years.
