i am a girl student of XIIth Sc (PCMB)&i got 6.6% in Xth (CBSE)i want to join army after XIIth.can i?if yes sent the process soon.

No,you are not eligible to apply for Indian Army examination.

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

NDA examination :-

You should be completed your Higher Secondary level with any stream from a recognized School or equivalent examination and there is no minimum percentage required for NDA examination.Your age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years and unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination.

Those in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible but 11th candidate are not eligible to apply for NDA examination.

This examination is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission.

This year notification was already released and it it available in the official website of UPSC and employment news papers also.

10+2 Technical Entry :-

You should be completed your intermediate(12th) examination with physics,chemistry and mathematics of a recognized School or equivalent examination and you must secure at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics,chemistry and mathematics.The age should have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19.5 years and unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

This notification was publish in employment news papers and other leading news papers.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for NDA exam because of you are a girl candiadte.Female candidate are not eligible for NDA exam

NDA stands for National defence academy which is conduct UPSC in twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 50% are eligible for NDA exam.Your 12th standard subject must be Maths and Physics.If you are not from science background then you are applicable only Indian Army.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for reserved category.

You must have citizenship of India.Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA I EXAM:-

• Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
• Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012
• Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

EXAM DATE FOR NDA II EXAM:-

• Date of commencement of notification : 05-05-2012
• Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 04-06-2012
• Date of NDA II Exam : 19-08-2012

I have attached the NDA form and Physical Eligibility criteria document.

You can join Indian Army after 12th standard through NDA(National Defence Academy) conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

There is no requirement of any percentage of marks for apply to NDA. One must be an unmarried Indian male within the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years of age having completed 10+2 with or without science subject are eligible to apply for NDA, Indian Army wing.

For Technical Entry scheme for Indian Army one unmarried male Indian, must complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 70% marks within the age group of 16.5 years to 19.5 years of age are eligible to apply.

If you wish to join Army after passing your class 12th, then NDA is the exam for you.

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy and it is an All India Entrance Examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year to recruit candidates for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to sit for this exam are :


-> You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board of India.

-> Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

-> You should be an Unmarried Male Indian.

-> Maths and Physics are compulsory subjects if you wish to apply for the Indian Navy and Air Force.

-> Physical fitness is a must.


If you satisfy these, then you are eligible to appear in this NDA exam.

Procedure is, firstly you have to apply for the exam. The notification has been released very recently on 31st December 2011.

The deadline to apply for this is 30th January 2012. Please do the needful on or before this date.

-> Once you are able to crack it, then you would be called for a Physical test and SSB Interview.

-> You have clear both and then get trained in the IMA for 1 year before you become a part of the Indian Army.

being a girl candidate you are not eligible to give NDA exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRIETERIA.

• AGE=16.5 TO 19
• MALE CANDIDATE

But you can still fulfill your dream.you first complete your GRADUATION.
after that you can give CDS exam .

CDS EXAM

• GIRL CANCIDATE can apply in:

1.FLYING BRANCH
2. TECHNICAL BRANCH
3.NON TECHNICAL BRANCH

a girl can not join army after 12 th class.

if you are interested in joining Indian Army, you can join as officer in Indian Army after your graduation through CDS exam conducted by UPSC.

CDS exam is conducted by UPSC.

eligibility to attend this exam is

should be a graduate with 60%.
candidate who is in final year also can apply.

Age Limit

Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officer Training Academy 19-25 Years


exam pattern:

english 100
elementary mathematics 100
general knowledge 100

total 300 marks.

sorry dear you are not eligible for appearing in both "NDA" and "10+2 technical entry" because a male candidate is only can appear for both....
but don't worry as you have the option of going into "CDS" to which a female candidate can also give.
