Procedure to join ICWA after B.Com? Fee structure and syllabus details?

ICWAI i.e. Institute of Cost and Works Accounts of India conducts
CWA or ICWAI Qualification course.

There are basically three courses included in the ICWAI qualification.

1. Foundation Course
One can apply for Foundation course after completing 12th (Age >/= 17 years).
The fee for the course is approximately Rs. 3,500/-

2. Intermediate Course
One can apply for the intermediate course
after qualifying the Foundation course
or
after completing graduation (other than fine arts).
The course fee is approximately Rs. 15,700/-
For oral coaching Rs.4,000/- is charges extra.

3. Final Course
One can apply for this course after qualifying the Intermediate course and
the course fee is approximately Rs. 11,000/-
For oral coaching Rs.5,000/- is charges extra.

HOW TO APPLY

As you are a graduate you can directly apply for Intermediate Course.

All the examinations are held twice a year. One in June and another in December.

The last date for admission/enrollment to CWA Foundation, Intermediate and
Final Course for June term examination is 5th of December of previous year.

The last date for admission/enrollment to CWA Foundation, Intermediate and
Final Course for June term examination is 5th of June of the same year.

Once you are enrolled for the course then you can submit application for that particular exam.

The dates of starting of application is notified on ICWAI website itself.

The last date of applying for the June term exam is 10th of April and
for December term exam it is 10th of October.

You can get the registration form and application form of the exams from
ICWAI Head Quarter or other council offices of ICWAI.
You can also get it through post by sending the required fee through DD.

after b.com you can directly appear for intermediate course,,,,,,
which contains two groups and once you will pass your inter you have to appear for final exam which is also contains 2 groups,,,,

the following leves tells you about the inter and final both group's subjects in short

1)foundation
2)intermediate
3)final

foundation eligibility : students pass of 10+2(intermediate)
subjects are
a)organization & management fundamentals
b)accounting
c)economics and business fundamentals
4)business mathematics, statistics


intermediate eligibility : pass in foundation or any degree(eg- b.com, bba, etc)
group-1 subjects
a)financial accounting
b)commercial and industrial laws and auditing
c)applied direct taxes

group-2 subjects
a)cost and management accounting
b)operation management and information systems
c)applied indirect taxes

once you will registered you can write both the groups in one attempt only if not then you have another choice to do each group which has duration of 6 months

basically exam going to be conduct in the month of june and december every year,,,,,,

final eligibility : pass icwa inter
group-3 subjects

a)capital market analusis & corporate laws
b)financial management - strategic management
d)indirect and direct tax management

group-4 subjects
a)management accounting - enterprise performance management
b)advanced financial accounting & reporting
c)cost audit & operational audit
d)business valuation management.


oral coaching fee stucture for all three leves are
1) foundation for intermediate registration & coaching fee including study material RS.3500/-
2)inter level- RS.19700/-
3)final level - RS.16000/-

if you do not want oral coaching which is provided bu the chapter then you have to go for postal coaching for which you should pay RS.15000/- through DD to the head office.(for intermediate level)

they will ask you to pay another RS.6000/- for ITT training that is computer training of 100 hours, which is compusory,,,,,(for intermediate level)
