Qualification and experience required for Airport Custom Officer?
Hi, I am very keen to become an Airport Custom Officer. So, could you please tell me about the minimum educational qualification required for it? And, what about practical work experience?

To become a Custom Officer at Airport, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service Examination.
It is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. There is no practical work or experience required to appear and qualify in the examination. Candidates have to appear and qualify in all three stages for final selection. Airport Customs Officer are recruited through Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC every year.
This prestigious post comes under Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise), Group A. To be eligible for this exam, you should have completed graduation in any field (BBA/B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc./B.Com/BCA/B.Pharma, etc.) from a recognized institute/college. For cracking this Civil Services Exam, you need to qualify following stages i.e.
Regarding practical work experience, you will have perform duties of detection at airports or seaports. It will be your duty to avoid any kind of smuggling or illegal trade. |

To become a Custom Officer at Airport, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service Examination which is conducted by UPSC.
The qualification required for Civil service exam is minimum Graduation from any stream from a government recognized university. Their is no additional work experience is required The maximum age limit for Civil service exam is 32 years. So, get ready and start preparation for civil service exam. Best of luck |
