I have cleared my second PUC as well now I'm doing BA LLB. I'm interested to apply for SI post what is the qualification and age requirement to apply for the post? Also, what is the procedure to apply for it?

Required eligibility criteria are as follows:-
Educational qualification should be-
Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Percentage criteria should be 50 percent.

Age criteria-
20 years to 25 years.
Whereas relaxation is for reserved category candidates and it is 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Physical standards-
Height should be at least 170 cms.
Weight should be proportional to height.
Chest size is 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion.

For recruitment as an SI, you have to appear and qualify in CGL entrance examination conducted by SSC.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The examination is conducted by State SSC for recruitment in state service.

The age limit varies and so, you have to appear and qualify in all stages ( written, interview, and physical standard ) of examination for final selection.
